Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of RS <br />Enterprises on Lots 4A, 4B, and 4C,City Block 313, being located in <br />the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue. <br /> <br />Motion was made to excuse Reeves Hayter, from consideration of this <br />preliminary plat, by Marshall Kent, seconded by Bobby Myers. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Marshall Kent assumed the chair. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the City <br />Engineer's memo dated August 19, 2005, by Benny Plata, seconded <br />by Barbara Forrest. Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Motion was made for Reeves Hayter to return to the meeting by <br />Benny Plata, seconded by Russell McCain. Motion carried by a vote <br />of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on recommending revisions to the <br />Neighborhood Service (NS) classification of zoning and/or permitted <br />activities under the Home Occupations classification. <br /> <br />Lisa Wright recommended to the Commission that the definition of <br />Home Occupation be revised to allow more variety of activities so <br />long as no traffic, noise, or other offensive side-product be created. <br />The Commission agreed and also recommended that Home <br />Occupations be permitted annually so that neighbors could protest if <br />the activity no longer qualified. Ms. Wright advised that she would <br />prepare a draft recommendation for review at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m. <br /> <br />T <br /> <br />I <br />
