pRDINANCE NO. <br />98-030 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING <br />THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF <br />SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARI5: <br />Section 1. That the Traffic Control Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the <br />Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to <br />include the following stop signs: <br />"Stop - Lewis Lane at 5tone Avenue, stopping north-bound traffic." <br />"Stop - Johnson Street at 12th Street N.E., stopping west-bound traffic." <br />"Stop - Johnson Street at 17th Street N.E., stoppiilg east-bound traffic." <br />"Stop - Parr Avenue at 4th Street S.W., stopping east- and west-bound traffic." <br />Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of <br />a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00, and each <br />and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and <br />be deemed a separate offense. <br />Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br />repealed. <br />Section 4.
