ORDINANCE NO. 98'035 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FiJEL SALES ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 166, <br />ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD THOMPSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL <br />DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMIVIERCIAL DISTRICT <br />(C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL SALES SO ESTABLISHED; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFF'ECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section L That the boundaries heretofore establislied by the Zoiiiilg Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL SALES be, <br />and the same is hereby, established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 166, on property belonging to <br />DONALD THOMPSON, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH <br />SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL SALES the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and t11at the <br />boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO <br />FUEL SALES, be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br />SITUATED witllin the corporate limits of tlie City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part oti the George W. Cox Survey No. 164, <br />and being a part of Tract 2 as conveyed Donald W. Thompson by deed recorded <br />in Vol. 640, Page 381, of the Deed Records of said County and State, more fully <br />described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin (s) in a post at the Northwest corner of said <br />Tract 2; <br />THENCE South 88 Deg. 50 Min. East, along Nie South Boundary Line of <br />a tract of land owned by Bray, a distance of 321.1 feet to an iron pin (s) for corller <br />in the North Boundary Line of said tract 2; <br />THENCE South 0 Deg. 18 Min. West, along the West Boundary Line of <br />24th Street S.E. and along a fence, a distance of 866.1 feet to a concrete marker <br />(fi) for corner; <br />THENCE along the Northerly Boundary Line of Jefferson Road (Farm <br />Road 1507) as follows: Soutli 86 Deg. 47 Min. West, a distance of 19.6 feet to a <br />coiicrete inarker (f); around a curve (R=2904.789) to the right, a distance of 297.9 <br />feet to a concrete marker (fl; North SS Deg. 39 Min. West a distance of 62.3 feet <br />to an iron pin (s) for corner; <br />THENCE along the West Boundary Line of said tract 2 as follows: North <br />0 Deg. 42 Min. East, along a fence, a distance of 340.2 feet to a post ( fl; North <br />0 Deg. 51 Min.
