ORDINANCE NO. 98-044 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE <br />DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 226-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />DOUG WEIBERG, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br />DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2N); DESIGNATING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO <br />ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries lieretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT <br />3, CITY BLOCK 226-A, on property belonging to DOUG WEIBERG, so as to include in such <br />NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as a TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that <br />the boundaries of said NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), be, and the same are <br />hereby, established as follows: <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the George W. Cox Survey, being Lot <br />3, City Block 226-A in the City of Paris, located on tlie North side of Clarksville <br />Street, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street <br />at its intersection with the West Boundary Line of 22nd Street S.E.; <br />THENCE Northwest with tlle North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street a <br />distance of 95.5 feet to a stake; <br />THENCE North a distance of 173.5 feet to a stake; <br />THENCE East a distance of 80.3 feet to a stake in the West Boundary Line <br />of 22nd Street S.E.; <br />THENCE South with the West Bouildary Line of 22nd Street S.E. a <br />distance of 226.5 feet to the place of beginning, beitlg the same property conveyed <br />to E. F. Johnston and wife, Essie May Johnston, by deed of record in Volutne 296, <br />Page 449, Lamar County Deed Records, LESS 4.5 feet off the West side thereof <br />conveyed to R. G. Stocker by deed of record in Volume 314, Page 546, Lamar <br />County Deed Records, and being number 2157 Clarksville Street. <br />Section Z. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, <br />directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br />
