ORDINANCE NO. 98-055 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA5, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZO1vING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 313, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CARY MOON, SO AS <br />TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PD-c); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />NOVEMBER 1, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 2, CITY BLOCK <br />313, on property belonging to CARY MOON, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated <br />as a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PD-c), and that the boundaries of said <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a 1.149 acre tract of land situated in the Joseph <br />Leach Survey, Abstract No. 524, being a part of Lot 2, City Block 313 according <br />to the plat record in Cabinet 290-A of the Plat Records of Lamar County, Texas, <br />and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a TXDOT concrete monument found at the Northeast end <br />of a corner clip at the intersection of the East Right-of-Way Line of Loop Highway <br />286 (a variable width right-of-way) and the South Right-of-Way Line of Lamar <br />Avenue (U.S. Highway 82, a 120-foot wide right-of-way); said point being the <br />Northwest corner of said Lot 2 and the North corner of a tract of land described in <br />deed to Rex and Shirley Adams recorded in Volume 665, Page 875, of the Deed <br />Records of Lamar County, Texas, said point being the beginning of a curve to the <br />right whose center bears South 10 Deg. 39 Min. 43 Sec. East a distance of 3759.70 <br />feet from said point; <br />THENCE Easterly along the said South Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue <br />and said curve to the right through a central angle of 02 Deg. 41 Min. 16 Sec. an <br />arc distance of 176.38 feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod with "Pacheco Koch" cap set at <br />the end of said curve; <br />THENCE South 01 Deg. 19 Min. 16 Sec. East departing the said South <br />Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue, a distance of 148.13 feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod <br />with "Pacheco Koch" cap set for corner; <br />
