ORDINANCE NO. 98-056 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZOIVING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />ON LOT 2-A, CITY BLOCK 235, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DOlVNIE COLLARD, <br />SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />NEIGHBORHOOD 5ERVICE DISTRICT (NS); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br />THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br />NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 2-A, CITY <br />BLOCK 235, on property belonging to DONNIE COLLARD, so as to include in such <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br />presently designated as a NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), and that the boundaries <br />of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the John Herrington Survey, being Lot <br />2-A, City Block 235, also being the same property described in deeds to the Glew <br />Joint Revocable Trust, dated December 29, 1993, of record in Volume 411, Pages <br />144 and 146, Lamar County Real Property Records, and being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the Southwest corner of Lot 2-A, City Block <br />235; <br />THENCE East a distance of 140 feet to a stake for corner in the Southeast <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE North a distance of 85 feet to a stake for corner in the Northeast <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE West a distance of 150 feet to a stake for corner in the Northwest <br />corner of said tract; <br />THENCE South a distance of 85 feet to the place of beginning, and being <br />number 1212 19th Street N.W. <br />Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, <br />directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance. <br />
