ORDINANCE NO. 98-060 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 226A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO EMMA LOUISE McCLAIN ESTATE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1998. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 226A, on property belonging to EMMA LOUISE McCLAIN ESTATE, so as to include in such NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the George W. Cox Survey, being Lot 1, City Block 226A, also being the sarne property described as Lots 3, 4, 18, and 19 in the Simpson Place Addition according to the plat of such addition recorded in Volume 1, Page 76, Lamar County Plat Records, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of 21st Street S.E. with Clarksville Street and being the Southwest corner of Lot 3; THENCE North with the West Boundary Line of Lots 3, 18, and 19 a distance of 203.8 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 18 and the Southwest corner of Lot 17 of said addition; THENCE East with the South Boundary Line of Lot 17 a distance of 150 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 17 and the Northeast corner of Lot 18; THENCE South with the East Boundary Lines of Lots 18, 19, and 4 a distance of 302.6 feet, a stake in the North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street, and being the Southeast corner of Lot 4 and the Southwest corner of Lot 5 of said addition;
