ORDINANCE NO. AR-063 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 161A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MARSHALL JORDAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1998. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 161A, on property belonging to MARSHALL JORDAN, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, Abstract No. 778, being Lot 6, City Block 161A, and being a part of the tract described as Tract 1 in the Deed from Gwen Robinson to Harold Klinkerman and wife, dated March 20, 1984, and recorded in Volume 668, Page 750, Lamar County Deed Records, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E. with the North Boundary Line of Jackson Street, said point being the Southeast corner of said Klinkerman tract; THENCE North 00 Deg. 13 Min. West a distance of 69.0 feet along the West Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E. to an iron pin found for corner; THENCE North 89 Deg. 24 Min. West a distance of 221 feet to an iron pin set for corner; THENCE South 00 Deg. 12 Min. East a distance of 71.3 feet to an iron pin set for corner; THENCE East 221.0 feet along the North Boundary Line of Jackson Street to the place of beginning, being number 1134 6th Street S.E.
