ORDINANCE NO. AR-063 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br />ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 161A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MARSHALL <br />JORDAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS <br />A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br />THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br />NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1998. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br />No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK <br />161A, on property belonging to MARSHALL JORDAN, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated <br />as a NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), and that the boundaries of said <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br />Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, Abstract No. <br />778, being Lot 6, City Block 161A, and being a part of the tract described as Tract <br />1 in the Deed from Gwen Robinson to Harold Klinkerman and wife, dated March <br />20, 1984, and recorded in Volume 668, Page 750, Lamar County Deed Records, <br />and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of 6th Street <br />S.E. with the North Boundary Line of Jackson Street, said point being the <br />Southeast corner of said Klinkerman tract; <br />THENCE North 00 Deg. 13 Min. West a distance of 69.0 feet along the <br />West Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E. to an iron pin found for corner; <br />THENCE North 89 Deg. 24 Min. West a distance of 221 feet to an iron pin <br />set for corner; <br />THENCE South 00 Deg. 12 Min. East a distance of 71.3 feet to an iron pin <br />set for corner; <br />THENCE East 221.0 feet along the North Boundary Line of Jackson Street <br />to the place of beginning, being number 1134 6th Street S.E. <br />
