Compromise Settlement & Release of All Claims, which is Exhibit II to the <br />Judgment entered in said Cause on August 17, 1998. <br />Section 2. That the present boundaries of District 7 of the City of Paris, be, and same are <br />hereby, amended so as to exclude the above-described property therefrom. <br />Section 3. That the City Engineer, Earl Smith, be, and he is hereby, directed to amend <br />the Official City Limits Map and the Voting District Map so as to exclude the above-described <br />territory therefrom. <br />Section 4. That, if the above-described territory has not been annexed into the City of <br />Reno prior to April 1, 1999, the same shall become subject to the extraterritorial jurisdiction of <br />the City of Paris. <br />Section 5. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the Ciry of Paris <br />that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and <br />if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared <br />unconstitutional ar invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, <br />such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, <br />sentences, paragraphs, and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by <br />the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any unconstitutional or invalid <br />phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections. <br />Section 6.
