<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96-018 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARI5, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE <br /> CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION <br /> 23-29(c) OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR HUNTING DISTRICTS TO CONFORM TO <br /> THE "OFFICIAL SECOND AMENDED LAKE CROOK HUNTING DISTRICT MAP" <br /> ADOPTED APRIL 4, 1996; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $500.00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 1, 1996. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 23-29(c) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 23-29. Hunting or discharging rirearms at Lake Crook. <br /> <br /> "(c) The boundaries of the hunting area districts are established in accordance <br /> with the "Official Second Amended Lake Crook Hunting District Map", adopted <br /> on the 4th day of April, 1996, by Resolution No. 96-027. The districts <br /> established are restricted as follows: <br /> <br /> "(1) Districts 8B and 10 are restricted to no hunting. <br /> <br /> "(2) Districts l, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8A are restricted to hunting <br /> with bows and arrows only. <br /> <br /> "(3) District 9 is restricted to hunting for geese or ducks in <br /> accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and <br /> regulations. " <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $500.00, and <br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. T'his ordinance shall become effective on May 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of April, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eric S.
