THENCE South 0 Deg. 41 Min. 42 Sec. West a distance of 839.56 ft. to an iron pin (s) for corner at the Southwest corner of said 10 acre tract (same as southwest corner of 8.514 acre tract); THENCE along the North Boundary Line of Loop Hwy 286 as follows: South 66 Deg. 52 Min. 25 Sec. West a distance of 190.28 ft. to an iron pin (s) at the Southwest corner of said Joseph Ames Survey and an el corner of the original 54.33 acre tract; North 1 Deg. 23 Min. 03 Sec. West a distance of 799.76 ft. to an iron pin (s) for corner at a Northwest corner of said 54.33 acre tract; THENCE South 89 Deg. 21 Min. 06 Sec. East a distance of 403.96 ft. to the place of beginning and containing 8.119 acres of land. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearings to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearings, all in accordance with Section 43.052, Chapter 43, V.T.C.A. Local Government Code. Section 3. It is hereby declared to be tlle intention of the City Council of the City of Paris tliat the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any unconstitutional or invalid phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections. It is further hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris to exclude any area or areas described in the description of the property to be annexed, which are not within said City's jurisdiction to annex and that such area or areas sllould be carved out of the description by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, in order that such area or areas would not cause this annexation ordinance to be found to be invalid, voidable or void.
