<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96-055 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY ON PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING <br /> THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED <br /> BY REVISING SECTION 12-1, OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR <br /> REORGANIZATION AND EXPANSION OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONrLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, <br /> 1996. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That Section 12-1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, <br /> Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 12-1. Composition of department. <br /> <br /> The fire department of the City shall be composed of the fire chief, fire <br /> marshall-assistant fire chief and forty-six (46) members classified as follows: <br /> <br /> (1) One (1) fire trai ning officer. <br /> <br /> (2) Three (3) deputy fire chiefs. <br /> <br /> (3) Nine (9) fire engineers. <br /> <br /> (4) Six (6) fire fighter drivers. <br /> <br /> (5) Twenty-seven (27) fire fighters." <br /> <br /> Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
