<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br /> THE ZOMNG MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON
<br /> LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 113-a, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HOWARD JUMPER,
<br /> SR. AND ODIE JUMPER, 50 AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
<br /> DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2N); DESIGNATING THE
<br /> BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR
<br /> A PENALTY NOT TO EXCET OHEREWITHNAND PROV DING FOR OAN
<br /> PARTS ON ORDINANCES 1N CONFLIC
<br /> Er'FECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1997.

<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
<br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that an
<br /> OFFICE DISTRICT (O) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 1 l3-
<br /> A, on property belonging to HOWARD JUMPER, SR. ANU ODIE JUMPER, so as to include
<br /> in such OFFICE DISTRICT (O) the hereinafter described property, which was fiormerly and is
<br /> presently designated as a TWO FAM LY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries
<br /> of said OFFICE DISTRICT (O), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows:
<br />
<br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
<br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, on the
<br /> West side of 12th Street S.E., formerly Webb or South 30th Street, and beingh
<br /> described as follows, to-wit:
<br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the West boundary line of 12th Street S.E., at
<br /> the Northeast corner of the R. L. Doke lot;
<br /> THENCE North a distance of 92 feet, a stake;
<br /> THENCE West a distance of 140 feet, a stake;
<br /> THENCE South a distance of 92 feet, a stake;
<br /> THENCE East a distance of 140 feet, to the place of beginning, being
<br /> number 340 12th Street S.E.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby,
<br /> directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
<br /> Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
<br /> provisions of this ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty
<br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon convictin, sh vltiofin of the above en ~me ated ord~na~1000.00~
<br /> and each and every day's continuance of any ioa
<br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
<br /> expressly repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective January l, 1997.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session
<br /> convened, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of December,
<br /> 1996.
