<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANC E NO. 9 5- 0 01 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> ON LOT 1F-A, CITY BLOCK 306, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO W. A. HARRIS, <br /> SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52); <br /> DE5IGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO <br /> ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCE5 IN CONFLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1F-A, CITY <br /> BLOCK 306, on property belonging to W. A. HARRIS, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br /> presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - <br /> BILLBOARD SIGN (52), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, <br /> and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being <br /> a part of a tract of land conveyed Morris Kimbell by deed recorded in Volume <br /> 578, Page 216, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lot 1F-A, City <br /> Block 306, more fully described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Stone <br /> Avenue at the northeast corner of said Kimbell tract of land; <br /> THENCE North 84 Deg. 33 Min. West along the South Boundary Line <br /> of Stone Avenue a distance of 99.1 feet to a stake for corner; <br /> THENCE South 42 Deg. 09 Min. West along the East Boundary Line of <br /> U.S. Highway 271 a distance of 70.7 feet to a concrete marker; <br /> THENCE Southerly along the East Boundary Line of said highway around <br /> a curve to the right a distance of 80 feet to a stake for corner; <br /> THENCE North 89 Deg. 11 Min. East a distance of 148.5 feet to a stake <br /> for corner in the East Boundary Line of said Kimbell tract of land; <br /> THENCE North 2 Deg. 13 Min. West a distance of 120.3 feet to the place <br /> of beginning and containing 0.40 acres of land, and being located on the southeast <br /> corner of N. Main Street and Stone Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and <br /> he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordi nance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, <br /> and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance sha11 become effective February 1, 1995. <br />
