<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 9 5 - 0 0 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARI5, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 317, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DONALD R. LEWIS, <br /> SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br /> AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCE5 OR PARTS OF <br /> ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE OF FEBRUARY 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 2, CITY <br /> BLOCK 317, on property belonging to DONALD R. LEWIS, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br /> presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lot 2, City Block 317, more fully <br /> described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line of Loop 286 N.E., said <br /> point being the northwest corner of Lot 2, City Block 317; <br /> THENCE South 89 Deg. 44 Min. East a distance of 1298.4 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE South 0 Deg. 19 Min. West a distance of 826.9 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 89 Deg. 32 Min. West a distance of 430.8 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 0 Deg. 28 Min. East a distance of 239.7 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 89 Deg. 32 Min. West a distance of 619.3 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 36 Deg. 19 Min. West a distance of 414.2 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North along the East Boundary Line of Loop 286 N.E. a <br /> distance of 251 feet to the place of beginning, and being located in the 3300 block <br /> of Loop 286 N.E. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and <br /> he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, <br /> and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective February l, 1995. <br />
