<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 95-016 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE STREET KNOWN AS CENTER AVENUE, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS CENTER STREET, BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY AT THE <br /> EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 3RD STREET N.E., EAST TO THE WEST <br /> BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET N.E. WITHIN THE FAIRGROUND <br /> PROPERTY; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID STREET FOR <br /> CITY USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 8, 1995. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council of the City of <br /> Paris, that a street known as Center Avenue, also known as Center Street, beginning <br /> approximately at the east boundary line of 3rd Street N.E., east to the west boundary line <br /> of 6th Street N.E. within the Fairground property is of no use as a street to the City of <br /> Paris or to its citizens, and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the street known as Center Avenue, also known as Center Street, <br /> beginning approximately at the east boundary line of 3rd Street N.E., east to the west <br /> boundary line of 6th Street N.E. within the Fairground property, described in Exhibit A <br /> attached hereto, is hereby closed. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
