ORDINANCE NO. 95-040 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SUBSECTIONS (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 3423, ESTABLISHING A SEWER SERVICE RATE FOR CUSTOMERS USING CITY WATER; REVISING SUBSECTIONS (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 3424, ESTABLISHING A SEWER SERVICE RATE FOR CUSTOMERS NOT USING CITY WATER; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1995. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARI5: Section 1. That Subsections (a) and (b) of Section 34-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: "Section 3423. Sewer rates - For customers using City water. If no historical water consumption data is available for a customer, that customer's wastewater volume sha11 be based upon one-hundred (100) percent of the actual metered potable water consumption up to the maximum amount represented by the winter average established by the residential class.
