<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 95-040 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT <br /> THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING <br /> SUBSECTIONS (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 3423, ESTABLISHING A SEWER SERVICE <br /> RATE FOR CUSTOMERS USING CITY WATER; REVISING SUBSECTIONS (a) AND <br /> (b) OF SECTION 3424, ESTABLISHING A SEWER SERVICE RATE FOR <br /> CUSTOMERS NOT USING CITY WATER; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br /> IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br /> NOVEMBER 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARI5: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Subsections (a) and (b) of Section 34-23 of the Code of Ordinances of <br /> the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, amended so that such shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 3423. Sewer rates - For customers using City water. <br /> (a) Charges for sewer service furnished by the City to residenrial, <br /> commercial and industrial customers sha11 be based upon customer class and <br /> meter size, incorporating a base monthly cost for the first increment of usage and <br /> <br /> a cost for each additional one hundred (100) cubic feet above the first increment, <br /> as follows: <br /> RESIDENTIAL CLASS <br /> <br /> SERVICE IN <br /> METER SIZE BASE COST EXCESS OF BASE <br /> Inches (Per Cubic Foot) jPer Cubic Foot) <br /> <br /> 518 through 314 $5.93 for first 200 $2.39 for each additional 100 <br /> <br /> 1 and Larger $32.80 for first 1000 $2.39 for each additional 100 <br /> <br /> <br /> COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CLASS <br /> <br /> SERVICE IN <br /> METER SIZE BASE COST EXCESS OF BASE <br /> Inches f Per Cubic Footl (Per Cubic Foot) <br /> <br /> 518 through 314 $8.83 for first 200 $2.54 for each additional 100 <br /> <br /> 1 through 2 $27.33 for first 1000 $2.54 for each additional 100 <br /> <br /> Larger than 2 $51.46 for first 2, 000 $2.54 for each additional 100 <br /> <br /> (b) Monthly residential customers' wastewater volume sha11 be based <br /> upon one-hundred (100) percent of the actual metered potable water consumption <br /> up to the maximum amount represented by the average of the preceding <br /> November, January and February consumption, which shall be known as the <br /> "winter average". If no historical water consumption data is available for a <br /> customer, that customer's wastewater volume sha11 be based upon one-hundred <br /> (100) percent of the actual metered potable water consumption up to the <br /> maximum amount represented by the winter average established by the residential <br /> class. <br />
