<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
<br /> (GR) ON LOTS 8-A, 8-B, 9, 10-A AND ll, CITY BLOCK 222-B, AND LOTS 16 AND 17
<br /> AND PART OF LOTS 15 AND 18, CITY BLOCK 286, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO
<br /> HEDY NASH, WILLIAM MCFADDEN, HARRY BRIGHT, DONALD SCHURKAMP,
<br /> JAME5 THOMPSON, SAM COLE, W. C. DEVLIN AND WORLD CHRISTIAN
<br /> CENTER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
<br /> AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLINGllDDESIGNATING2 THE )BOUNDARI SB OF~THE
<br /> SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); AN
<br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED.

<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
<br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
<br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 8-A, 8-
<br /> B, 9, 10-A AND 11, CITY BLOCK 222-13, AND LOTS 16 AND 17 AND PART OF LOTS
<br /> 15 AND 18, CITY BLOCK 286, on property belonging to HEDY NASH, WILLIAM
<br /> MCFADDEN, HARRY BRIGHT, DONALD SCHURKAMP, JAMES THOMPSON, SAM
<br /> COLE, W. C. DEVLIN AND WORLD CHRISTIAN CENTER, so as to include in such
<br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the llereinafter described property, which was formerly
<br /> and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) AND
<br /> NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL
<br /> RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the saine are hereby established as follows:

<br /> SITUATED witliin the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
<br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lots 8-A, 8-13, 9, 10, 10-A and 11, City
<br /> Block 222-13, and Lots 16 and 17 and part of Lots 15 and 18, City Block 286;
<br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of N.
<br /> Collegiate Drive with the South Boundary Line of E. Price Street;
<br /> THENCE along the West Boundary Line of N. Collegiate Drive the
<br /> following: South 51 Deg. 18' East a distance of 30.69 feet; South 11 Deg. 53'
<br /> a distance of 46.8 feet; southerly along a curve to the right with a radius of 681.2
<br /> feet, a distance of 211.47 feet to a point;
<br /> THENCE South 89 Deg. 25' West a distance of 346.6 feet to a point in
<br /> the West Boundary Line of 27th Street N.E.;
<br /> THENCE South with the West Boundary Line of 27th Street N.E. a
<br /> distance of 83 feet to a point, the southeast corner of Lot 8-A, City Block 222-13;
<br /> THENCE West along the South Boundary Line of said Lot 8-A a distance
<br /> of 148 feet to a point, the southwest corner of said Lot 8-A;
<br /> THENCE North a distance of 335 feet to a point in the South Boundary
<br /> Line of E. Price Street;
<br /> THENCE East along the South Boundary Line of E. Price Street a
<br /> distance of 499 feet to the place of beginning, located between Lamar Avenue and
<br /> E. Price Street from Collegiate Drive west to a point 158 feet west of 27th Street
<br /> N.E.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and
<br /> he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the
<br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
<br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
<br /> expressly repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
