ORDINANCE NO. 94-009 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) ON LOTS S-B AND 8-C, CITY BLOCK 257-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO SARAH GOREE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) be, and the same is hereby established on LOTS 8-B AND 8-C, CITY BLOCK 257-A, on property belonging to SARAH GOREE, so as to include in such MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said MULTI- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lots 8-B and 8-C, City Block 257-A, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of 25th Street N.E., with the South Boundary Line of E. Cherry Street, said point being the nortlleast corner of said Lot 8-13, City Block 257-A; THENCE South with the West Boundary Line of 25th Street N.E. a distance of 109 feet to a point, the southeast corner of said Lot S-B; THENCE West with the South Boundary Line of said Lot 8-B and Lot 8- C a distance of 206 feet to a point, the southwest corner of said Lot 8-C; THENCE North with the West Boundary Line of said Lot 8-C a distance of 109 feet to a point in the South Boundary Line of E. Cherry Street, same being the northwest corner of said Lot 8-C; THENCE East with the South Boundary Line of E. Cherry Street a distance of 206 feet to the place of beginning, located on the southwest corner of E. Cherry Street and 25th Street N.E. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ardinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
