<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 94-010 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CbT~Y~O~F P OF S ID <br /> A M E N D E D B Y R E V I S ING SECTION 34131(c)(6) a), ) <br /> CODE; PROVIDING THAT FEES BE E5TABLISHED FOR PERM I T S, <br /> WASTE DISPOSAL AT POTW, AND MANIFEST SYSTEM BOOKS; <br /> PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING <br /> ALL ORDINANCES 0 FOR AN EFFECTIV DATE OF MARCH <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br /> 1, 1994. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 34-131(c)(6) a), b) and c) of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. (6) Fees. <br /> <br /> a) Permits. <br /> <br /> Each person shall include with an application for permit an <br /> Initial Fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), with an Annual <br /> Renewal Fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). " <br /> <br /> b) Waste Disposal at POTW. <br /> <br /> Waste Transporters utilizing the City POTW will be <br /> charged a minimum fee equal to the fee for 1,000 gallons of liquid <br /> waste in the amount of Thirty-Three Dollars ($33.00), and all over <br /> 1,000 gallons Thirty-Three Dollars ($33.00) per 1,000 gallons. <br /> Waste transporters may also be surcharged for wastes that exceed <br /> the parameters of normal domestic wastewater as established in <br /> Section 34-86(a) of this article. This charge will be based upon <br /> the strength as averaged by a representative number of grab <br /> samples from each load. Fees shall be reviewed on an annual <br /> basis by the City and adjusted as necessary to reflect true costs to <br /> the City. No wastes shall be accepted containing prohibited <br /> substances as described in Section 34-105 of this article." <br /> <br /> c) Manifest System. <br /> <br /> Liquid waste transporters may be charged a manifest fee to <br /> recover printing and handling costs for trip-ticket books in the <br /> amount of Seven and one-half Dollars ($7.50) per book. This fee <br /> shall be reviewed annually by the City and adjusted to reflect true <br /> costs to the City." <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance <br /> shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation <br /> of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate <br /> offense. <br />
