<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 94-012 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 341, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HOLLIS R. <br /> TOPPING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED <br /> AS A AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIE5 OF <br /> THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 2, CITY <br /> BLOCK 341, on property belonging to HOLLIS R. TOPPING, so as to include in such <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the D STRICT (A)pand that the boundar es ofnsaid <br /> presently designated as a AGRICULTURAL <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lot 2, City Block 341, and being a part of <br /> the James Bourland Survey and of the 2.13 acre tract of land conveyed by W. <br /> Claude Walker et al to H. A. Dickerson and wife, Geraldine Dickerson, on April <br /> 7, 1965, by deed recorded in Book 428, Page 328, Lamar County Deed Records, <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the East Boundary Line of State Highway 24 <br /> at the northwest corner of said Walker-Dickerson 2.13 acre tract of land; <br /> THENCE East with its North Boundary Line a distance of 273.3 feet, an <br /> iron pipe at its northeast corner; <br /> THENCE South with the East Boundary Line of said Walker-Dickerson <br /> tract of land a distance of 94.6 feet, an iron pipe; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 318.2 feet, and iron pipe in the East <br /> Boundary Line of State Highway 24; <br /> THENCE with the East Boundary Line of said highway North 25 Deg. <br /> East a distance of 104.35 feet to the place of begimung, containing 0.64 acre of <br /> land, according to a survey made by R. G. Berry, Registered Public Surveyor, <br /> on March 30, 1965, located on the east side of Church Street, approximately 300 <br /> feet south of Loop 286 S.E. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and <br /> he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br /> accardance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. <br />
