ORDINANCE NO. 94-024 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF' PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS~ BE AMENDED BY ADDING A SECTION TO BE NUMBERED, 2-196 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CHARGES FOR REQUESTS FOR PUBLIC RECORDS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 9, 1994. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris find that the following charges are not excessive; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C'OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding a section to be numbered 2-196, to read as follows: "Section 2-196. Charges for requests for public records. (a) In order for the City of Paris to recover part of the cost in answering public records requests, the following charges have been established: 1. Standard Size Paper Cony_ $1.00 2. Nonstandard-Size Conv" (a) Diskette $5.00 Plus Actual Cost of Diskette (b) Audio Cassette $5.00 Plus Actual Cost of Cassette (c) VCR or VHS Video Cassette $5.00 Plus Actual Cost of Cassette 3. Personnel Charges (a) Administrative Charge $40.00 If less than one hour - compute percentage of time required (b) Clerical $20.00 If less than one hour - compute percentage of time required 4. Microfilm or Microfiche (a) Paper Copy $ 1.00 (b) Fiche or Film Copy Actual Cost 5. Remote Document Retrieval Actual Cost 6. Computer Resource Charge (a) Mainframe $17.00 per minute (b) Midsize $ 5.00 per minutes
