That Subsections (a), (b) and (c) of Section 34-23 of the Code of Ordinances <br /> of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 34-23. Sewer rates - For customers using City water. <br /> <br /> (a) Charges for sewer service furnished by the City to residential, commercial <br /> and industrial customers shall be based upon customer class and meter size, incorporating <br /> a base monthly cost for the first increment of usage and a cost for each additional one <br /> hundred (100) cubic feet above the first increment, as follows: <br /> <br /> RESIDENTIAL CLASS <br /> <br /> METER SIZE (Inches) BASE COST (Per Cubic Foot) <br /> <br /> 5/8 through 3/4 $5.93 for first 200 <br /> <br /> 1 and Larger $32.80 for first 1000 <br /> <br /> <br /> COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CLASS <br /> <br /> METER SIZE (Inches) BASE COST (Per Cubic Foot,) <br /> <br /> 5/8 througli 3/4 $8.83 for first 200 <br /> <br /> 1 through 2 $27.33 for first 1000 <br /> <br /> Larger than 2 $51.46 for first 2,000 <br /> <br /> All service in excess of base will be charged at $2.54 for each additional 100 cubic feet. <br /> <br /> (b) Monthly residential customer wastewater volume sha11 be based upon eighty <br /> (80) percent of the actual metered potable water consumptiotl. <br /> <br /> Monthly commercial and industrial customers' wastewater volume shall be based <br /> upon one-hundred (100) percent of the actual metered potable water consumption, except <br /> those customers whose wastewater is metered, and their volume shall be based upon one- <br /> hundred (100) percent of the metered wastewater. The former shall be billed for one- <br /> hundred (100) percent of the metered potable water and the latter shall be billed for one- <br /> hundred (100) percent of the metered wastewater. <br /> Section 6. The rates established in Sections 4 and 5 above will be effective with billings <br /> beginning December 1, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 7. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance sha11 be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and <br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute <br /> and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> 4 <br />
