A.1_n1 I <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC <br /> HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING CONINIISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON <br /> THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANNEXATION, <br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF <br /> SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That public hearings be held by and <br /> before the Planning and Zoning commission of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of April, 1993, at 5:30 <br /> o'clock p.m, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas; by <br /> and before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, in Regular Session convened on the 8th day of April, <br /> 1993, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Room, City Hall, <br /> Paris, Texas; and by before the City Council of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, in Regular Session convened on the 12th <br /> day of April, 1993, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council <br /> Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, giving all interested persons <br /> the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation <br /> and appropriate zoning upon annexation of the following <br /> described property: <br /> 5ITUATED about 22 miles S 50° W of the City of <br /> Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of <br /> the Isaac Cruise Survey #162, Asa Jarman Survey #479, <br /> and the Lemuel Ewer Survey #313, and being a tract of <br /> land conveyed the Paris, Texas Industrial Foundation by <br /> Deed recorded in Vol. 550, Page 886, of the Deed <br /> Records of said County and State, and being a part of a <br /> 268.06 acre tract of land conveyed Donna Jones et al by <br /> deed recorded in Vol. 534, Page 579, Deed Recc,rds of <br /> said County and State, being further described as <br /> follows: <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South <br /> Boundary Line of the Texas and Pacific Railroad at the <br /> Northwest corner of said Industrial Foundation tract of <br /> land, said point being the most Northerly Northeast <br /> corner of said 268.06 acre tract of land; <br /> THENCE South, a distance of 636 feet to an iron <br /> piri on a pool bank and continuing on a total distance <br /> of 708 feet to a point for corner in said pool at the <br /> southwest corner of said Industrial Foundation tract of <br /> land an el corner of said 268.06 acre tract af land; <br /> THENCE S 40 13' E, a distance of 742 feet to iron <br /> pin for corner; <br /> THENCE along the South Boundary Line of said <br /> 268.06 acre tract of land as follows: N 89° 15' E, a <br /> distance of 644 feet; S 89° 30' E, a distance of 388 <br /> feet; East, a distance of 1368.5 feet to an iron pin <br /> for corner; <br /> THENCE S 00 15' W, a distance of 924 feet to an <br /> iron pin for corner at the niost easterly southwest <br /> corner of said 268.06 acre tract of land; <br /> THENCE East, a distance of 1062 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner at the Southwest corner of a tract of <br /> land conveyed Billy J. Partridge by deed recorded in <br /> Vol. 581, Page 208, of said Deed Records; <br /> THENCE N 341 E, a distance of 150 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner at the northwest corner of said <br /> Partridge tract of land; <br /> THENCE S 89° 45' E, a distance of 115 feet to an <br /> iron pin for corner; <br />
