ORDINANCE N0. 93-012 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION VIII OF APPENDIX B, PARAGRAPH F, OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING MINIMUM SIZES FOR YARD OR SERVICE LINES, LATERAL LINES AND MAIN LINES WITHIN THE SANITARY SEWERAGE COLLECTION SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES GR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL l, 1993. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Section VIII. Design of Improvements F. Sanitary Sewerage Collection System. The sanitary sewerage collection system shall be based on a design adequate to carry the anticipated flow of sewage from within the subdivision; provided however, that the minimum size yard or service line shall be four (4) inches in diameter, which shall connect to a lateral or main which shall be a minimum size of eight (8) inches in diameter. . . Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, anci each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate otfense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on April l, 1993.
