<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
<br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
<br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
<br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOTS 3, 4, S,
<br /> 6 AND 7, CITY BLOCK 178 AND ALL OF CITY BLOCK 179, AND ALL OF
<br /> CITY BLOCK 177, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CITY OF PARIS, SO AS
<br /> TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A CENTRAL
<br /> AREA DISTRICT (CA); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
<br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
<br /> by the Zoning Nap and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
<br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and
<br /> that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be, and
<br /> the same is hereby established on LOTS 3, 4, 5, 6 AND 7, CITY
<br /> BLOCK 178 AND ALL OF CITY BLOCK 179, AND ALL OF CITY BLOCK
<br /> 177, on property belonging to CITY OF PARIS, so as to include
<br /> in such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUT'IONS DISTRICT (PLI) the
<br /> hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
<br /> presently designated as a CENTRAL AREA DISTRICT (CA), and
<br /> that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS
<br /> DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as
<br /> follows:
<br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City
<br /> of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
<br /> being Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, City Block 178; a11 of
<br /> City Block 179; and all of City Block 177.
<br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
<br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change
<br /> the Zoning Map of the Ci.ty of Paris in accordance with the
<br /> provisions of Ordinance Na. 1710 and the land use map
<br /> accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions
<br /> ot this ordinance.
<br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
<br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
<br /> immediately upon passage.
<br />
<br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
<br /> Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City
<br /> Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of May, 1992.
