ORDINANGE N0. 93-031 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 29-43 UF SAID CODE; PROVIDING F'OR AN INCREASE 1N PERMIT FEE FOR CURBS, GUTTEIZS AND SIDEWALKS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $500.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE UATE OF AUGUST 1, 1993. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 29-43 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 29-43. Same - Fee. The fee for a permit required by section 29-41 shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00). If work is begun without obtaining such permit, an additional iee of ten dollars ($10.00) per day shall be charged for each day's delay in obtaining the permit. The payment of such fee shall not relieve any person from prosecution for vialating section 29-41." Section 2. Any person violating any af the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $500.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts ot ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on Augus t 1, 1993.
