ORDINANCE N0. 93-041 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) OIV LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES W. YANCEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIUNATE;D AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) SO ESTABLISHED, AND APPROViNG SITE PLAN FOR SAME. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF PARiS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, on property belonging to JAMES W. YANCEY, so as to include in such PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said Pi,ANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, ar.d State of Texas, and being all that certain tract of land situated in the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, Abstract No. 524 and being part of a 25 acre tract of land conveyed to Bruce Ray by deed recorded in Volume 260, Page 84 of the Lamar County Deed Records and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found for corner in the North Line of Loop Highway 286 the Southeast corner of a 1.497 acre tract of land conveyed to Ross Ward by deed recorded in Volume 246, Page 283 of the Lamar County Real Property Records; THENCE North 11 41' East, a distance of 393.64 feet to an iron pin found for corner, the Northeast corner of said 1.497 acre tract, in the South Line of Center Street; THENCE South 89° 30' 15" East a distance of 205.9 feet to aci iron pin set for corner; THENCE South 11 43' 30" West, a distance of 453.33 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North line of Loop Highway 286; THENCE North 731 13' 30" West with said North line a distance of 212.86 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2.00 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to charige the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use n,ap accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. The site plan of the property herein re-zoned, which is attached hereta as Exhibit A, is approved. Section 4. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
