ORDINANCE N0. 93-048 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERr1IT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 321, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO OUTDOOR DISPLAYS, INC., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL I RETE~ILRIDISTRICT (GR)D ANDNAS ECIFIC BOUNDARIES OF 1HE GENERAL BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 321, on property belonging to OUTDOOR DISPLAYS, INC., so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State oy Texaa~tanod being a part of the Reddin Russell Surve, a p~ City Block 321, and being a part of a 19.996 acre tract of land conveyed Russell Gifaoddfethe Hindman, deed recorded in Vol. 364, p ge 503 o of saicl County and State. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway No. 139, said point being the Northwest corner of said tract of land; THENCE N. 890 09' East along the South Bouridary Line of said Highway, a distance of 250.7 feet to a concrete marker for corrier; THENCE 76° 49' East along said Highway, a distance of 103.1 feet to a concrete marker for corner; THENCE N. 89° 09' East along said Highway, a distance of 75 feet to an iron pin for corner in the center of a ditch; THENCE S. 5° 24' West, a distance of 139 feet to an iron pin for corner in the center of a ditch; THENCE S. 30° 'LO' West, a distance of 213 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North Boundary Line af Loop Highway Ivo. 286, said point being in the center of a ditch; THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along the North Boundary Line of said Highway, along a 1° curve to the right, a distance of 335.4 feet to a concrete marker for corner; THENCE N. 570 09' West along the North Boundary Line of said Highway a distance of 26.3 feet to an iron pin for corner, said point being the Southwest corner of said 19.996 acre tract of land; THENCE N. 0° 52' West, a distance of 153.6 feet to the place of beginning. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
