ORDINANCE N0. 92-008 AN ORDINANCE AMENllING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANUING THE BOUNBARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; F,STABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 2, CITY BLUCK 320, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CARLES STERLING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN 'I'ERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES UF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT' - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CIT'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance Na. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 320, on property belonging ta CARLES STERLING, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AIvTD SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C, and that the boundaries of said COMMI;RCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC t1SE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey and situated about 1-2 miles northeast ot the Court House, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, also being Lot 2, City Block 320 located at 2680 N.E. Loop 286, also being a part of the First Tract described in Sheriff's Deed to Sam H. Payne, dated December 7, 1938, and recorded in Book 254, Page 9, Lamar County Deed Records. BEGINNING a stake in the south boundary line of Highway Loop 286, a distance of 36 feet west of the original southeast corner of the aforesaid Lot 9, Block B; THENCE with the north boundary line of a road, N 890 W, 249 feet; THENCE N 1° E, 104 feet tc the south boundary line of said Highway Loop 286; THENCE with said south boundary line of Highway Loop 286, S 75° E, 158 feet; THENCE S 502° E, 120 feet to the place of beginning. Section `L. 'Ihat the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Par:is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
