Mr. Fulton said they would be planting cedar trees on top of the berm. Member Wilson questioned the height of the trees being tall enough so that it wasn't visible from the highway. Mr. Fulton said the highway sits lower and you should not be able to see much of it. Council Gary Vest, Paris Economic Development Corporation, spoke in support of this item. Ray Banks, 3450 Robin Road, wanted to know if there would be any chance of flying metal. Mr. Fulton said there was no chance, because the machine had guards. Mayor Fendley asked for anyone speaking against this item to do so. WIth no one else speaking, Mayor Fendley closed the public hearing. Motion to approve by Council Member Manning. ORDINANCE NO. 2005-041: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL (Pdd) AND OFFICE CENTER (PD-f), PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED FOR LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 259, BY THE ADOPTION OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2000-038, ADOPTED AUGUST 14, 2000, SAID SITE PLAN BEING FOR A PORTION OF LOT 14, THE SAME BEING LOT 14A-4, CITY BLOCK 259; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES ORP ARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
