<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 92'020 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> GF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARtES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; EST`ABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 6, CITY <br /> BLOCK 307, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO COY .JOHNSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C); A1VD DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY UF PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br /> the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br /> Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ANll SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN <br /> (52), be, and the same is hereby established on LUT 6, CITY BLOCK <br /> 307, on property belonging to COY JaHNSON, so as to include in <br /> such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD <br /> SIGN (52) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly <br /> and is presently desigriated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and <br /> that the boundaries of said COM1vIERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC <br /> USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate Iimits of the City <br /> of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and <br /> being situated about `Z miles North of the City of <br /> Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of <br /> the Reddin Russell Survey No. 786 and being a part of a <br /> 14.26 acre tract of land owned by Estelle Council. <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the West <br /> Boundary line of U. S. Highway 171 at the present <br /> Southeast corner of said Council tract of land, said <br /> point for corner also being the Northeast curner of an <br /> 18.73 acre tract of land conveyed R. B. Stovall Co. by <br /> deed recorded in Vol. 352, page 259, of the Deed <br /> Records of said County and State. <br /> THENCE North 41 West along the West Boundary Line <br /> of said U. S. Highway 271 a distance of 362 feet to an <br /> iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 644 feet to an iron pin <br /> for corner in the West Boundary Line of said Council <br /> tract of land; <br /> THENCE South 4° 45' West along the East Boundary <br /> Line of the S.L. and S.F. Railroad a distance of 362.4 <br /> feet to an iron pin for corner at the Southwest corner <br /> of said Council tract of land and the Northwest corner <br /> of said Stovall Co. tract of land; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 699 feet to the place of <br /> beginning and containing 5.568 acres of larid. <br /> THENCE <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Pari.s in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, <br /> and in accordance with the pravisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
