<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 92'026 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF' SAID CITY; ESTA13LISHING A <br /> COTIMERCIAL DISTKICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD <br /> SIGN (52) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 344, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br /> CARLES STERLING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br /> DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); AND DESIGNATING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES UF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE <br /> PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, <br /> and that a COMMERCIAL UISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE <br /> PERMIT-BILLBUARD SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby <br /> established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 344, on property belonging <br /> to CARLES STERLING, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL <br /> DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the <br /> hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br /> presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and that <br /> the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC <br /> USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br /> Texas, and being Lot 6, City Block 344 in the City <br /> of Paris, Lamar County, Texas and more <br /> particularly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary <br /> Line of Bonhaai Street (U.S. Highway 82), said <br /> point being the Northeast corner of an 18 acre <br /> tract of lancl out of the Isaac Cruse Survey, <br /> conveyed to James L. Brockway and wife, by Deed <br /> recorded in Volume 353, Page 356, Deed Records of <br /> Lamar County, Texas, said point being the <br /> Northeast corner of said Lot 6, City Block 344; <br /> THENCE South along the East Boundary Line ot <br /> said 18 acre tract, 504 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE West 434.6 feet to a point in the West <br /> Boundary Line of said 18 acre tract; <br /> THENCE North, 248 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE East, 170 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE North, 256 feet to a point in the <br /> South Boundary Line af Bonham Street (U.S. Highway <br /> 82); <br /> THENCE East, 264.6 feet along the South <br /> Boundary Line of Bonhani Street to the place of <br /> beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development <br /> of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to <br /> change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use <br /> map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances iri <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordirrance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
