ORDINANCE N0. 92-040 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 87-039; ESTABLISHING A MAXIMUM, REASONABLE AND PRUDENT RATE OF SPEED ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF PARIS; PROVIDING FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1992. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the f'ollowing maximum, reasonable and prudent rates of speed shall be established on those portions of the street hereinafter described: "Gn Loop 469 (Bonham Street/Lamar Ave.) Easterly from the intersection of US Highway 82 (West), for a distance ot approximately 0.250 miles, a speed limit of fifty (5U) miles per hQUr at all times; THENCE Easterly a distance of approximately 0.670 miles, a speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Easterly a distance of approximately 0.860 miles, a speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Easterly a distar,ce of approximately 1.883 miles, a speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Easterly a distance of approximately 0.720 miles, a speed limit of forty (40) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Easterly to the intersection of US Highway 82 (East) a distance of approximately 0.770 miles, a speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour at all times; except that a school speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour will be effective on school days, from highway milepost 10.345 to highway milepost 10.545 only during the following hours: 7:15 A.M. until 8:15 A.M. 2:45 P.M. until 3:15 P.M. On Loop 480 (North Main Street) Southerly from the intersection of US Highway 271 (North), for a distance of approximately 0.930 miles, a speed limit of forty (40) miles per hour at all times; THEPICE Southerly a distance of approximately 0.300 miles, a speed limit af thirty-five (35) miles per hour at a11 times; THENCE Southerly to the intersectivn of Loop 469 (Clarksville and Grand Avenue) a distance of approxi- mately 0.570 miles, a speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour at all times; And on Loop 480 (Clarksville Street) Southeasterly from the intersection af 12th Street, for a distance of approximately 0.445 mil_es, a speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Southeasterly for a distance of approxi- mately 0.647 miles, a speed limit of forty (40) miles per hour at all times; THENCE Southeasterly to the intersection of US Highway 271 (South), a distance of approximately 1.306 miles, a speed limit of fifty (50) miles per hour at all times."
