ORDINANCE N0. 92-052 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING NiAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 10, CITY BLOCK 188-E, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DON NICHOLSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C;ITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 10, CITY BLOCK 188-E, on property belonging to BON NICHOLSON, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being all that certain tract or parcel of land siutated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, Abstract No. 778, also being a part of a called 106 acre tract of land described as Third Tract in a deed to Joe Nicholson, Eddie Nicholson, and Don Nicholson, recorded in Volume 632, Page 871 of the Lamar County Deed Records, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point for corner in the East Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E., said point being S 1°O1' East, 2,046.45 feet from the present Northwest corner of the above-mentioned 106 acres; THENCE North 881 59' East a distance of 235 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 11 Ol' East a distarice of 210 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E.; THENCE North 77° 30' 50" West with said North Boundary Line a distance of 171.48 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 581 04' 20" West, continuing with said North Boundary Line a distance of 81.25 feet to an iron pin for corner in the East Boundary Line of 6th Street S.E.; THENCE North 11 01' West with said East Boundary i,ine a distance of 125 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City oi' Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the pr«visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in contlict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
