<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C)
<br /> ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 135, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DON WILSON,
<br /> CONDITIONED UPON THE APPROVAL ON CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 9,
<br /> CITY BLOCK 151, AND LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 135 FROM MULTIPLE-FAMILY
<br /> DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) TO PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION
<br /> DISTRICT (PLI), SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
<br /> DESIGNATED AS A MULTIPLE-N'AMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1);
<br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES ON' THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO
<br /> ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING t'OR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00;
<br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
<br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING N'OR AN EN'FECTIVE DATE OF MAY 1, 1997.

<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
<br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a
<br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 7, CITY
<br /> BLOCK 135, on property belonging to DON WILSON, CONDITIONED UPON THE
<br /> APPROVAL OF CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 151, AND LOT 6,
<br /> CITY BLOCK 135 FROM MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) TO
<br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI), so as to include in such
<br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
<br /> presently designated as a MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), and that
<br /> the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby, established
<br /> as follows:

<br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
<br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lot 7, City Block 135, and further described
<br /> as follows:
<br /> BEGINIVING at a point in the Southwest corner of West Washington Street
<br /> on Lot 7, City block 135;
<br /> THENCE North a distance of 273 feet to a stake far corner at the
<br /> Northwest corner of said tract;
<br />
<br /> THENCE East a distance of 475 feet to a stake for corner at the Northeast
<br /> corner of said tract;
<br /> THENCE South a distance of 27:3 feet to a stake for corner at the Southeast
<br /> corner of said tract;
<br /> THENCE West a distance of 485 feet to the place of beginning, being
<br /> iiumber 418 West Washington.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby,
<br /> directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
<br /> Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
<br /> provisions of this ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of
<br /> a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and
<br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall
<br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
<br /> repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 5. This ordinaiice shall become effective May 1, 1997.
