<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 97-022 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LANDS AND <br /> INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 135, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PARIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br /> FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 <br /> (MF-1); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND <br /> INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br /> ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE OF JUNE 1, 1997. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTTTUTION DISTRICT (PLI) be, and the same is hereby, established <br /> on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 135, on property belonging to the CITY OF PARIS, so as to include <br /> in such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was farmerly and is presently designated as a MULTIPLE FAMII.Y DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), and that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND <br /> INSTITUTiON DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lot 6, City Block 135, more fully described <br /> as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the West Boundary Line of 4th Street S.W., <br /> being the Northeast corner of said Lot 6; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 475 feet to a stake for corner in the East <br /> Boundary of bth Street S.W., being the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; <br /> THENCE South along the West Boundary Line of 6th Street S.W. a <br /> distance of 575 feet to a stake for corner, being the Southwest corner of said Lot; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 475 feet to a stake for corner in the East <br /> Boundary Line of 4th Street S.W., being the Southeast corner of said Lot; <br /> THENCE North along the West Boundary Line of 4th Street S.W., a <br /> distance of 575 feet to the place of beginning, being number 600 4th Street S.W. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby, <br /> directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with t11e provisions of <br /> Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of <br /> a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and <br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br /> repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective June l, 1997. <br />
