<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 97-026 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 97-007, PASSED ON THE 13TH <br /> DAY OF JANUARY, 1997; PERMITTING TIME FOR REPAIR OF THE STRUCTURE <br /> OTHERWISE DECLARED DILAPIDATED AT 61114TH STREET N.E., BEING LOT 6, <br /> BLOCK 3, HICKS IIRST ADDITION AND BELONGING TO MELANY MCF'ATRIDGE; <br /> AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1997. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Steve Methven, Chief Building Official of the Ciry of Paris, appeared before <br /> the City Council of the City of Paris at its regular meeting on the 8th day of May, 1997, and <br /> requested that Melany McFatridge be permitted to repair and bring into compliance with the <br /> Building Code of the City of Paris the structure located at 611 14th Street N.E., being Lot 6, <br /> Block 3, Hicks First Addition, and bei»g heretofore declared to be dilapidated, since she <br /> purchased the same without knowiiig that it was condetnned, thus being without notice of the <br /> necessity of appearing before the City Council at its regular meeting on January 13, 1997, when <br /> the ordinance was passed that declared the structure at said address to be dilapidated and ordered <br /> the removal of the same; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be in the best interest of the <br /> <br /> City of Paris that its citizen, Melany McFatridge, be given ninety (90) days to repair and bring <br /> into compliance with the Building Code of the C'ity of Paris the structure at 611 14th Street N.E., <br /> being Lot 6, Block 3, Hicks First Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the structure at 611 14th Street N.E., being Lot 6, Block 3, Hicks First <br /> Addition, and being heretofore declared to be dilapidated, be, and the same is hereby, removed <br /> from the list included in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 97-007 and added to the list included in <br /> Section 2 of said Ordinance, with August 29, 1997, being listed thereafter as the date by which <br /> such structure must be repaired and brought into compliance with the Building Code of the City <br /> of Paris. <br /> <br /> Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly <br /> repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on June 1, 1997. <br /> <br /> PA5SED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 1997. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eric S.
