<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 97-036 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTIPLE-FAMILY <br /> DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) ON LOT 15, CITY BLOCK 255-A, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO SARAH DENE GOREE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br /> FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); <br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br /> CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST <br /> 1, 1997. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) be, and the same is hereby, <br /> established on LOT 15, CITY BLOCK 255-A, on property belonging to SARAH DENE GOREE, <br /> so as to include in such MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) the <br /> hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE- <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said MULTIPLE- <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby, established as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Hiram Williams Survey and a <br /> part of the tract of land described in deed from Mrs. Mary Ella Goree, et al, to <br /> John Goree, dated March 2, 1948, recorded in Volume 305, Page 135, Deed <br /> Records, Lamar County, Texas, which was identified in said deed as being Lot 4 <br /> in the partition of the L. R. Vanlandingham Estate, and being more fully described <br /> as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the East Boundary Line of 25th Street N.E. at <br /> a point 272.25 feet north of its intersection with Houston Street; <br /> <br /> THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of 25th Street N.E. a distance <br /> of 150 feet, a stake; <br /> THENCE East to a stake at the northwest corner of a lot conveyed to Clyde <br /> Parham by deed recorded in the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE South with the Parham West Boundary Line a distance of 150 <br /> feet, a stake in the South Boundary Line of said above-mentioned tract or parcel <br /> of land (also being the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street) at the Southwest <br /> corner of said Parham lot; <br /> THENCE West to the place of beginning, being the same property <br /> described in deed from Mrs. Mary Ella Goree, et al, to John Goree, and being <br /> number 262 25th Street N.E. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby, <br /> directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br /> Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of <br /> a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and <br /> each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br />
