<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> "(2) The Dispatcher Training Officer shall be entitled to <br /> compensation at the rate of $6.25 per day when performing the <br /> duties and responsibilities of the position. <br /> <br /> "(3) The assignment pay provided by this section shall be in <br /> addition to the regular pay received by the member or members of <br /> the police department assigned as the Dispatcher Training Officer. <br /> <br /> "(d) K-9 Officer. <br /> <br /> "(1) K-9 Officer shall mean a member of the police department <br /> who is assigned to and performs the duties and responsibilities of <br /> the K-9 officers program. <br /> <br /> "(2) The K-9 Officer shall be entitled to compensation at the rate <br /> of $50.00 per pay-period when performing the duties and <br /> responsibilities of the position. <br /> <br /> "(3) The assignment pay provided by this section shall be in <br /> addition to the regular pay received by the member or members of <br /> the police department assigned as the K-9 Officer. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 26-7. Longevity Pay. <br /> <br /> "Members of the police department shall be entitled to received longevity pay, as <br /> permitted in Local Government Code, Section 143.041, as amended, at the rate of <br /> $1. 85 per pay-period. <br /> <br /> "Sec. 26-8. Certification Pay. <br /> <br /> <br /> "(1) Members of the police department shall be entitled to receive certification <br /> pay, as permitted in Local Government Code, Sections 143.041 and 143.044, as <br /> amended, as follows: <br /> <br /> "(a) Intermediate certificatian - $50.00 per pay-period, <br /> <br /> "(b) Advanced certification -$75.00 per pay-period, or <br /> <br /> "(c) Masters certification - $92.30 per pay-period. <br /> <br /> "(2) The certification pay provided by this section shall be in addition to the <br /> regular pay received by the member or members of the police department <br /> qualifying for the same." <br /> <br /> Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly <br /> repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
