<br />9. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />"( <br /> <br />October 24, 2005 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Approving and authorizing the City Manager to obtain short term <br />financing from the City's Depository Bank in accordance with Section <br />79 and 80 of the City Charter and the City's Depository Contact, <br />providing for the repayment of said financing by or before a certain date <br />during fiscal year 2005-2006. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Ordering A TMOS Energy, Mid- Tex Division to show cause regarding the <br />reasonableness of its existing natural gas distribution rates within the <br />City, requiring ATMOS Energy, Mid-Tex Division to submit a rate <br />package based on a rate year ending June 30, 2005; directing that such <br />filing shall be made by December 31, 2005; and requiring <br />reimbursement of reasonable legal and consultant expenses. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Approving and ratifying the execution of an application to the Office of <br />the Governor for a Criminal Justice Grant for the Red River Valley Drug <br />Task Force. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Approving the sale of tax delinquent property described as Part of Lot <br />10, City Block 6, being number 143 South Main Street. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Approving and authorizing the execution of a new Lease with Cox <br />Southwest Holding, L.P. for continued use of City-owned property <br />located West of Northwest 19th Street as a site for a communications <br />tower. <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />Approving and authorizing the adjustment of the base salary for the <br />Deputy Chief position within the City of Paris Fire Department. <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />Nominating a candidate for membership on the Board of Directors of <br />the Lamar County Appraisal District. <br /> <br />City Manager Report concerning end of year financial status. <br /> <br />Citizens Forum. <br /> <br />(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to <br />two (2) minutes in duration.
