<br /> AN ORllI1VANCE CONTAINING A HEARIIVG UN PROPERTIES LOCATED
<br /> IN THE CITY OF PARIS, T'EXAS, BELONGINU TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND
<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS
<br /> REMAINING ON TtiE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE
<br /> A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND YROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE
<br /> ANL WELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID
<br /> KUBBISH, LUMBEK AND REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN
<br /> llOWN AND REMOVED FRONI THE PREMISES IN URDER TO ABATE SUCH
<br /> NUISANCE.
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was called to order by the
<br /> Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, Jr., on the 13th
<br /> day of May, 1991, at 6:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Roorn,
<br /> City Hall, in the City of Paris, T'exas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Hazard
<br /> Inspectiori Committee fixed a date for hearing on the
<br /> resolutions referred to the Committee by the City Council on
<br /> the 14th day of January, 1991, and said Committee fixed saici
<br /> hearing at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on the 15th day of March, 1991,
<br /> and the hearirig was had thereon. That proper notice was
<br /> given to the owner or owners of the structures located at the
<br /> following addresses:

<br /> Street N.E., Lot 4, Block 1, E.M.P. Addition
<br /> 1060 2nd Street N.E., Lot 6, Block 2, E.M.P. Addition
<br /> 408 East Tudor Street, Lot 41, Block 60
<br /> 126 West Provine, Lot lI, Block 95
<br /> 1105 Pine Bluff Street, Lot 14, Block 70
<br /> 913 5th Street N.E., i,ut 12, Black 74-C
<br /> 1440 lOth Street N.W., Lot 4, Block 8, Smith lst
<br /> Addition
<br /> 1450 lOth Street N.W., Lat 5, Block 8, Smith lst
<br /> Addition

<br /> That at said hearing the Committee iisted the structures
<br /> involved and introduced pictures of the various portior,s of
<br /> the structures and various portions of the premises involved
<br /> and a list of discrepancies in the structures Iocated
<br /> thereon. That the Comiriittee found that each of the above
<br /> structures was in such state of deterioration and
<br /> dilapidation as to create a serious fire hazard to life and
<br /> property and that each af said buildings was dilapidated and
<br /> was dangerous to lite and praperty and dangerous structures
<br /> to life and property. That. said buildings are in such a
<br /> state of dilapidation and decay that none of said structures
<br /> are capable of repair. It is further found that the condi-
<br /> tion of the premises and structures involved was such that
<br /> the Committee recommended to the City Council that they be
<br /> declared a nuisance and that the owners thereof be ordered by
<br /> the City Council to tear down and remove the same from the
<br /> lots irlvolved. That saici Cocrimittee filed a complete report
<br /> of its hearing and its findings with the City Clerk of the
<br /> City of Paris on the 14th day of Apri1, 1991; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that proper
<br /> notice was given to the owner or owners of the structures
<br /> hereinatter listed. That at saicl hearing on the 15th day of
<br /> March, 1991, the Committee listed the structures involved and
<br /> introduced pictures of the various portions of the structures
<br /> and variaus portions of the premises involved and a list of
<br /> discrepancies in the structures located thereon. That the
<br /> Committee found that each of the hereinatter listed
<br /> structures was in such state of deterioration and
