ORDINANCE N0. 91-052 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES: CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 17-5(f); PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASED FEE FOR FURNISEiING OF CERTIFIED COPIES OF VITAL STATISTICS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF URDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Paragraph (f) of Section 17-5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to read as follows: "(f) The registrar of vital statistics is authorized and directed to furnish, upon request, to any qualified applicar,t, a certified copy of a death certificate recorded as provided in this section, for which a fee of nine dollars ($9.00) will be charged for the first or only copy requested, and three dollars ($3.00) for each additional copy of the same record requested in the same request. The fee for a certified copy of a birth record shall be nine dollars ($9.00). Additional copies shall be nine dollars ($9.00) for each copy requested. Such certified copy shall be issued in only such form as approved by the state department of health, and receipts shall be ff►ade by the registrar and issued to the applicant upon receipt forms furnished and provided by the City. All such fees collected shall be paid by the registrar to the City morithly." Section 2. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall become etfective immediately upon passage.
