ORDINANCE N0. 91-056 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF' SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 317, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO BILL MERCY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI'TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES UF THE CONIMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on PART OF LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 317, on property belonging to BILL MERCY, so as to include in such COMIKERCIAL DISTRIC'T (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey #524, also being a part of tract 17 as conveyed Donald R. Lewis by deed recorded in Volume 636, Page 806, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at an iron pin (f) for corner at the present Southwest corner of said tract 17, said point being the Northwest corner of the Comfort Inn. THENCE along the Easterly Boundary Line of Loop Hwy. 286 as follows: North 22 Degrees 57 Minutes West 167.1 feet to a concrete marker (f); North 36 Degrees 9 Minutes West 107.9 feet t:o an iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE South 89 Degrees 32 Minutes East a distance of 619.3 feet to an iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE South 0 Degrees 28 Minutes West a distance of 239.7 feet to an iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE North 89 Degrees 32 Minutes West along the South Boundary Line of said tract 17 and the North Boundary Line of said Comfort Inn a distance of 488.3 feet to the place of beginning and containing 3 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Pari.s in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordacice with the pruvisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
