<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 90-003 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF' PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LANDS AND <br /> INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 156 AND LOT 1, <br /> CITY BLOCK 156-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO COUNTY OF LANIAR, SO AS <br /> TO INCLUDE "THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A HEAVY <br /> INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (HI) ; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY GF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br /> the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br /> Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br /> PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same is <br /> hereby established on LaT 14, CITY BLOCK 156 AND LOT l, CITY <br /> BLOCK 156-A, on property belcnging to COUNTY OF LAMAR, so as to <br /> include in such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) the <br /> hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br /> presently designated as a HLAVY INDUS'TRIAL DISTRICT (HI), and <br /> that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIGNS <br /> DISTRICT (PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as <br /> follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City <br /> of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part <br /> of the Larkin Rattan Survey #778, and being a tract of <br /> land now or formerly owned by the Farmers anct Merchants <br /> Compress and Warehouse Co. <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the West <br /> Boundary Line of First S.W. at the Northeast corner of <br /> said tract of land, said point for corner being North a <br /> distance of 325 feet from the North Boundary Line of <br /> Brown Avenue; <br /> THENCE South along the West Soundary Line of First <br /> S.W. a distance of 1109.5 feet to an iron pin for <br /> corner at the present Southeast corner of said tract of <br /> land; <br /> THENCE South 891 40' West para11e1 to ar,d 25 feet <br /> North of the center ot the Texas and Pacific Railroad a <br /> distance of 526.5 feet to an iron pin for corner at the <br /> present Southwest corner of said tract of land; <br /> THENCE North 11 East along the East Boundary Line <br /> of 3rd S.W. a distance of 1131 feet to an iron pin for <br /> corner, said point being North 11 East a distance of <br /> 339 feet from the North Boundary Line of said Brown <br /> Avenue; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 287 feet to an iron pin <br /> for corner; <br /> THENCE South l° East a distance of 18.5 feet to an <br /> iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 219.5 feet to the place <br /> of beginning and containing 13.304 acres of land, SAVE <br /> AND EXCEPT 0.448 acres included in said Brown Avenue, <br /> leaving a net acreage of 12.856 acres of land, ALSO <br /> LESS right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad or <br /> the S.L. & S.F. Railroad that might have claim through <br /> usage of their Spur Tracts. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, <br /> and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
