<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
<br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
<br /> THE ZUNING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
<br /> DISTRICT (LI) ON LOTS 8 and 9, CITY BLOCK 235-A, ON PROPERTY
<br /> BELONGING TO RICHARD NAFE and MRS. LEWIS SMITH, SO AS TU INCLUDE
<br /> THEREIN TERRIT'ORY FURMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING
<br /> DISTRICT N0. 3; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT
<br /> INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
<br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
<br /> the Zoning Niap and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br /> Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
<br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same is hereby
<br /> established on LOTS 8 and 9, CITY BLOCK 235-A, on property
<br /> belonging to RICHARD NAFE and MRS. LEWIS SMITH, so as to include
<br /> in such LIGH'T INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter described
<br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE
<br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3, and that the boundaries of said
<br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI), be, and the same are hereby
<br /> established as follows:
<br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City
<br /> of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
<br /> being Lots 8 and 9, City Block 235-A, in the City of
<br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas and being more particularly
<br /> described as follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line of
<br /> N.W. 19th Street, saicl point being 331 feet south of
<br /> the centerline ot Center Street, said point also being
<br /> the riorthwest corner of Lot 9, City B1ock 235-A;
<br /> THENCE Easterly with the north line of Lot 9 and
<br /> Lot 8, City Block 235-A, 634 feet more or less to the
<br /> northeast corner of said Lot 8;
<br /> THENCE Southerly with the east line of Lot 8, City
<br /> Block 235-A, 328 feet more or less to the Southeast
<br /> corner of said Lot;
<br /> THENCE Westerly with the south line of said Lot 8,
<br /> 625 feet more or less to the Southwest corner of said
<br /> Lot 8 and the East Boundary Line oi N.W. 19th Street;
<br /> THENCE Northerly with the East Boundary Line of
<br /> N.W. 19th Street, 330 feet more or less to the place of
<br /> beginning.
<br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
<br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
<br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
<br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
<br /> and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br /> Section 3. A11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
<br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
<br /> immediately upon passage.
<br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
<br /> in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
<br /> Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of >g st, 1990.
