ORI7INANCE N0. 90-031 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY UF FARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 2-98 OF SAID CUDE; PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE IN AMBULANCE SERVICE RATES; REPEALING ALL GRDINANCES OR PART5 OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOK AN ErFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER l, 1990. BE IT URDAINED BY THE C1TY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF PAKIS: Section 1. That Section 2-98 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 2-98. Ambulance Service Rates. The following rates are established for ambulance service for Lamar County: (1) ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (ALS) $125.00 plus $2.00 per within Lamar County mile from point of pick up to point of delivery ('L) EASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) $100.00 plus $2.00 per mile within Lamar County from point of pick up to point of delivery. (3) TRANSFER SERVICE $75.00 plus $2.00 per within Lamar County mile from point of pickup to point of delivery (4) PERSONAL PREFERENCE $100.00 plus $2.00 per TKANSFER SERVICE mile from point of pick to a point outside City up to point of delivery of Paris beyond a 125 and for return to point mile radius of origin inside City of Paris (5) IN HOUSE TRANSFER $50.00 from hospital to treatment facility and return to hospital (6) REQUESTED SERVICE $30.00 not used In addition to the established rates, a usual, reasonable, and customary charge for medical supplies and service used or required in connection with emergency and transfer service shall be made." Section l. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on October l, 1990.
