<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 89-002 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C) ON LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11, CITY BLOCK 315-A, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO C& F FARM & RANCH CENTER, JOHN YERBY, <br /> STEPHEN COPE, JERRY BOB STEPHENS, HILLIARD & SONS, WAYNE STINSON, <br /> MICHAEL & ZED SMITH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br /> DESIGNATED AS A AGRICULTURE (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br /> the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br /> Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established <br /> on LOTS l, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11, CITY BLOCK 315-A, on <br /> property belongirig to C& F FARM & R.ANCH CENTER, JOHN YERBY, <br /> STEPHEN COPE, JERRY BOB STEPHENS, HILLIARD & SONS, WAYNE STINSON, <br /> MICHAEL & ZED SMITH, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is <br /> presently designated as a AGRICULTURE (A), and that the <br /> boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are <br /> hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City <br /> of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and <br /> being Beginning at a point in the East Boundary Line of <br /> 46th N.E., said point being the Northwest corner of a <br /> tract of land conveyed to Hoyt and Charlene Langley <br /> and Gerald and Nadene Farmer by deed recorded in Volume <br /> 595, Page 640 of the Deed Records of Lamar County, <br /> Texas; <br /> Thence East a distance of 857 feet more or less to <br /> the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Zed <br /> Smith III and Michael B. Smith by deed recorded in <br /> Volume 611, Page 12 of said Deed Records; <br /> Thence South a distance of 640 feet more or less <br /> to a point in the North Boundary Line of Lamar Avenue; <br /> Thence Westerly along the North Boundary Line of <br /> Lamar Avenue, a distance of 884 feet to a point in the <br /> said East Boundary Line of 46th N.E.; <br /> Thence North along the East Boundary Line of 46th <br /> N.E., a distance of 704 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, <br /> and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective <br /> immediately upon passage. <br />
