<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 89-030 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN URDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING <br /> THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY <br /> REVISING ORDINANCE N0. 1710, SECTION I0-100 AND SECTIGN <br /> 22-100(46) OF SAID CODE; 1'ROVIDING FOR THE REQUIREMENT OF <br /> DUST-FREE SURFACES FOk REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES OR <br /> LOTS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING <br /> ALL URDINANCRSA ~ E F~CTIVEF D~ATEIOFI~SEPTEMBER Nl LI1989 EREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 10-100 of Zoning Ordinance No. <br /> 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such <br /> shall read as follows: <br /> "Section 10. Off-Street Parking And Loading <br /> Regulations <br /> <br /> 10-100. . • • <br /> Such off-street parking shall be covered <br /> with a dust free all-weather surface. All <br /> otf-street required parkitig consisting of 3 <br /> spaces or more in existence on September l, <br /> 1989, withoUt a dust free surface shall <br /> construct dust free surface on or before <br /> September 1, 1992." <br /> Section 2. That Section 22-100(46) of Zoning Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that <br /> such shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 22. General Definitions <br /> 22-1U0(46). <br /> <br /> Parking Space - An enclosed or <br /> unenclosed dust-free all-weather surface of <br /> concrete, asphalt, seal coat in accordance <br /> with 1982 Standard Specifications for <br /> Construction of Highways, Streets and Bridges <br /> of the State Department of Highways and <br /> Public Transportation and subsequent <br /> additions, or equivalent approved by the City <br /> Engineer of the City of Paris. All-weather <br /> surfaced area of not less than one hundred <br /> eighty (180) square feet (measuring <br /> approximately 9 feet by 'LO feet) not on a <br /> public street or alley, together with a <br /> dust-free, all-weather surfaced driveway <br /> connecting the area with a street or alley, <br /> permitting fee ingress and egress without <br /> encroaching on the street or alley. Any <br /> parking adjacent to a public street wherein <br /> the maneuvering is done on the public street <br /> shall not be classified as off-street parking <br /> in computing the parking area requirements <br /> for any use." <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, an p00 con- <br /> viction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000, <br /> each and everyta on' shalltlconstit t aand violation <br /> deemed fat separate <br /> enumerated sec <br /> offense. <br />
