ORDINANCE N0. 88-003 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 2-A AND 4, CITY BLOCK 321, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO G. L. SKIDMORE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMER- CIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 2-A and 4, City Block 321, on property belonging to G. L. Skidmore, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby estab- lished as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being situated about 2 miles North 50 Deg. East of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State Texas, a part of_ the Hiram Williams Survey and being a part of a 4 acre tract of land conveyed 0. 0. Rainey as recorded in Vo1. 395, Page 266, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway 139 at the Northeast corner of said Rainey tract of 1and; THENCE SOUTH a distance of 300 feet to a stak_e for corner in the East Boundary Line of said Rainey tract of land; THENCE WEST a distance of 234 feet, more or less to a stake for corner at the West Boundary Line of said Rainey tract of land; THENCE NORTH a distance of 300 feet to a stake for corner at the Northwest corner of said Rainey tract of land; THENCE EAST along the South Boundary Li_ne of Spur Highway 139 a distance of 234 feet to the place of beginning and containing 1.61 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
